Childrens Ministry

Grove Kidz at Pleasant Grove Baptist ChurchAt Grove Kidz, we believe the Bible should never be boring, worship can be really loud and good leaders always care. Before kids head off to middle school, we want to make sure these three things stick…

  1. I need to make the wise choice.
  2. I can trust God no matter what.
  3. I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

The focus at Grove Kidz is our small group environment. We want kids to see how God’s word fits into their lives, to learn how talk to Him, and to build friendships that will last. That’s why it’s important to make sure your child connects with the same friends, same leader, at the same hour 9:30am – EVERY SUNDAY MORNING!

Our mission is simple: We want each child taking the journey through our ministry to learn how their life’s story fits into the amazing Story of God!

A special note to parents: The primary role of children’s ministry at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church is to shine the light of Jesus into the lives of children. We strive to make the most of every moment we have your child but also desire to assist you, the parent, in your role as their primary spiritual guide. Tools are made available for parents to help their children apply things taught on Sunday evenings into their everyday life. If you would like more detailed information about our Grove Kidz ministry, please contact Pastor Chris Kinzler or Children’s Ministry Directors, Danny or Paula Bean.

In Deuteronomy 6, God has given us the charge to love Him with all of our heart, soul, and strength and to pass this love and His commands on to the next generation beginning in the home. Family should begin in the home and continue in the church. Therefore, we want to partner with every parent to continue the spiritual foundation they are setting in the home.
