Grove Kidz

At Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, we are passionate about providing a fun, safe, and Christ-centered environment for our youngest members through our Grove Kidz ministry. Designed for children from birth through sixth grade, Grove Kidz aims to help kids grow in their love for Jesus and understand His incredible plan for their lives. Each week, kids participate in engaging activities, Bible-based lessons, and interactive worship that fosters their spiritual growth.

Our dedicated volunteers are committed to making sure every child feels welcomed and loved. From the moment they walk through the door, kids are greeted by friendly faces and caring hearts who are excited to share the joy of Jesus with them. We believe that children learn best when they are having fun, so we incorporate games, crafts, and storytelling into every aspect of our teaching.

Grove Kidz meets every Sunday morning during Sunday School at 9:30 a.m. and during our main worship service at 10:45 a.m. These times are filled with age-appropriate Bible lessons that help kids understand God’s Word in a way that makes sense to them. On Wednesday evenings at 6 p.m., Grove Kidz gathers again for a time of fellowship, worship, and learning, giving kids a midweek boost in their faith journey.

One of the key focuses of our ministry is building relationships—not just between the children, but also with their families. We understand that parents play the most important role in a child’s spiritual development, and we are here to support and equip families to lead their children in faith. Our Grove Kidz ministry regularly hosts family events and activities to bring everyone together and create lasting memories.

We also believe in teaching kids how to serve others and share the love of Christ. Through mission projects, community outreach, and acts of kindness, Grove Kidz helps children learn the value of living out their faith in tangible ways. Whether it’s collecting food for those in need or writing cards to encourage others, we strive to instill a heart for service in every child.

At Grove Kidz, we see every child as a precious gift from God and an important part of our church family.
